With 20 years’ experience in the medical and aerospace precision engineering sector, Simon can offer tremendous knowledge and first class project management skills. A keen triathlete, Simon competes in Ironman events and has completed trans Scotland and Raid Pyrenean cycle events, always training hard throughout the year. Simon also likes nothing better than spending time with his family.

"Car Encyclopedia"

A Chartered Mechanical Engineer for 22 years, Nick brings much experience and knowledge to Colt Precision including 20 years’ automotive experience at senior level with Nissan and GM in manufacturing engineering, product development and operations management, plus experience in the manufacture of aerospace components and medical instruments. Nick is a self-confessed car “nerd”, always ready with a seemingly insignificant car fact. He also loves a family dog walk and supporting his son's competitive sailing.

"Rugby Fan"

Mike has over 15 years' manufacturing, quality systems, and operational management experience within the medical device industry and during this time, he has successfully delivered a number of key projects with great effectiveness. A keen rugby fan Mike enjoys mountain biking and other outdoor sports with his family.

"Runner" 

With a background in banking and 20 years of finance and management experience, Lorraine joined the team at Colt to support with Finance and HR. 

Lorraine loves to run and take part in races for fun, locally and further afield, her favourite being the champagne run in France. 

When not doing this she can usually be found running around after her teenage boys!

"DIY'er"

Helena is our newest recruit with over 25 years of experience in project coordination within both the pharmaceutical and aerospace sectors.

She loves being creative at home and spending time cultivating her garden for escapism. Helena also enjoys participating in and watching motorsport.

"Two-Wheeled Traveller” 

Quality is key at Colt, so people like Dan have an important role to play. And he does it well. We’re told he’s a lover of travel. If that can include a motorbike, it’s the perfect combination for Dan.

"Machining veteran"

From a very young age, Rory has always had an interest in machining and worked with his father in the family business on various projects ranging from test equipment and industrial domestic machines to police helicopters.

Rory is a real asset to the Colt team as CNC Programmer. He brings over 30 years of aerospace machining experience with him.

Outside of work, Rory loves rugby and motorsports

An ex Symmetry man, Chris has plenty of relevant experience to give Colt. We're glad to have him on the team.

Davide has recently joined the highly experienced team at Colt as a Setter Operator. 

Away from work he loves spending time with his young family and has interests in music, motorsports, technology, and good food.

"Football Fanatic" 

Zach has completed his apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and has achieved his NVQ in CNC Programming. He is very keen and focused and enhances our CNC milling section, ensuring that we can offer our customers an increased capacity when required.

In his social time, Zach has a passion for working on his car and loves to play and watch football.

Eager to learn and a great team player, Nile adds plenty of value to Colt.

Jack has joined Colt Precision as our apprentice, whilst he completes his Level 2 Engineering apprenticeship at college.

He's a happy member of the team and when not at work, Jack keeps up to date with the football season on TV.
